Im placing an order for team slacker t-shirts. Pictures of them are displayed in previous posts. If you are interested, the cost is $20. I will just need the name you want displayed on your shirt (if it is not your last name) and the size. The shirts do tend to shrink so I would recommend ordering a size larger.

To Georgetown

Now that we have our first 10 miles under our belts let's recover with a downhill seven miler. We'll start in front of the Barnes and Noble in Bethesda at 8am this Saturday (January 27) and head down the trail to Georgetown, ultimately finding ourselves (after a cool down walk) in Dupont Circle for breakfast. Bring your cash and your metro card to get you back. See you there!

First 10 Miler

I think that this time around we are going to stay at 10 miles for a while to make sure folks are comfortable with the double digits. We'll start with a 10 miler this weekend and intersperse 7 milers in between.

This Saturday, January 20 we will meet at 8am at the White Flint Metro. We will meet on the east side of 355 at the metro gate. For those of you parking, there is plenty of parking on Marinelli Road. Its non-metered on weekends. We will run from White Flint to Bethesda and metro back.

Mostly Downhill

Hey folks. Quite the challenging run we had on Saturday - big hills and no sidewalks had some suggesting that we change our name to Team Survivor! Not so much next week...we'll do our standard Grosvenor to Bethesda run which is mostly downhill (although we'll add that slightly uphill loop around the Grosvenor Metro station to make it a 7 miler). Meet at Grosvenor Metro at 8am Saturday, January 13th. Unless we decide that the hills are worth repeating.... :)

FIRST 2007 RUN

The first run of 2007 will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 8am at the Shady Grove Metro. Meet at the west side entrance. (to the left when you come out of the gates.)it will be 8 miles and will be a little hilly.
